Six Themes, Six Mistakes

A rental property with the wrong flair

What’s up, friends?

Located 10 minutes from the Pacific Ocean in Washington, this six-unit complex includes three uniquely built and designed homes.

From the outside, these homes have curb-appeal from their appealing slants. From the inside, though, they each tell a different (and confusing) story.

Six themes detail the six units: “Pirate, Egyptian, Enchanted Forest, Medieval, Viking, and Hawaiian”.

On the listing, these six themes are described as “ensur[ing] memorable stays”. I would argue that this property is memorable, but only because it’s exceptionally tacky.

Some of these are… culturally questionable.

Each living room has a homey spiral staircase, nearby the wooden beams that span the home.

By the looks of things, the similar themed planning carries into the interchangeable lamps, decor, and bedding.

And I’d imagine the same tackiness carries to the other bathrooms (not photographed) as well.

The aforementioned beams converge here, creating a cozy little nook.

A communal outdoor space greets travelers in a private grassy area, with few amenities.

If you’re in the market for owning a rental property, this might be for you -as long as you’re ready to strip out a sarcophagus from the second floor.
